With advancements and improvements happening all around the UT Dallas campus, the need to accommodate growing numbers of students, faculty, and researchers was the next logical step. Already involved with projects around the university, Pacheco Koch worked as the civil engineers on the 384,000-square-foot, five-level cast-in-place parking structure. With extensive infrastructure improvements, including installation of a new storm sewer system, a new sanitary sewer system and water loop, a new underground electrical and data duct bank network, and the widening of two main campus roadways, increased traffic patterns from the 1,153-car parking structure remain smooth.
