With a progressive eye to the future, the City of Hudson Oaks was looking for a unique performance venue to complement their festivals and celebrations. The 1,200-square-foot facility conceptually embraces the City’s oak tree namesake and provides the active and passive functions necessary for a performance or just appreciating the unique sculptural form. Meeting a tight schedule and tight budget were keys to the success of Gene L. Voyles Pavilion. Over eight thousand people attended the grand opening Fourth of July celebration.
